These terms and conditions (“Agreement”) constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“Customer” or “You”) and MyCinemabox Online Store (“MyCinemabox,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your use of the My MyCinemabox Online Store website (www.mycinemabox.online) and the purchase of any products offered on the website.

By accessing and using our website, and by making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase. If you do not agree with any part of these terms and conditions, you may not use our website or make a purchase.

  1. Non-Refundable Sale and Promo Items: All sale or promotional items are non-refundable. However, My Cinemabox will provide store credit for the same amount as the purchased price if the item is returned to My Cinemabox at the buyer’s own cost. The returned item must be in an unopened and resellable condition, subject to evaluation by My Cinemabox. If a refund is approved, it may take up to 10-14 working days to reflect in the customer’s bank account.

  2. Delivery Lead Times: Delivery lead times are specified during the checkout process and will be communicated to the customer in the order confirmation email. It is the customer’s responsibility to review and acknowledge the specified delivery lead times before making a purchase. Please note that media players and devices are imported and may be subject to delays of up to 90 days due to shipping and delays with chipsets during the manufacturing process. The lead time for these items is generally extended and is more accurate than the approximate specified delivery times advised on the website. It is important to take note of this when ordering any TV Boxes/Sticks in particular.

  3. Extended Delivery Period: In the event of unforeseen or extended delivery lead times, My Cinemabox reserves the right to extend the delivery period up to 90 working days, particularly in the case of stock delays when importing stock or customs delays out of our control. While we strive to meet the specified delivery times, circumstances beyond our control may necessitate such extensions. We will make reasonable efforts to keep customers informed of any delays.

General Terms:

Order Confirmation: An order confirmation will be sent to the email address provided by the customer upon completing a purchase. Please review the order confirmation for accuracy and contact us promptly if there are any discrepancies.

Cancellation: Once a custom order, such as a TV Box with custom-loaded apps, is confirmed, it cannot be canceled or modified by the customer. Please double-check your order before completing the purchase.

Product Inspection: Customers are advised to inspect all items upon delivery. Any defects, damages, or discrepancies must be reported to My Cinemabox within 48 hours of receiving the product. Please note that software loaded onto electronic devices may be subject to updates. My Cinemabox does not take responsibility for the software, the continuation of any apps, or their development. This applies particularly to media devices, where we are not responsible for any apps and their functionality. This is a matter between the user and the service provider. We only sell the hardware.

Governing Law: This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

Changes to Terms: My Cinemabox reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. It is the customer’s responsibility to review the terms periodically for changes.
